What happens if a payment fails or you cancel?
Your family archive is never deleted for a billing reason. If a payment fails, existing content stays fully readable while new uploads are paused until payment recovers. If you cancel, your plan stays fully active until the period you already paid for ends, then the account moves to FREE limits — again, without deleting anything already preserved.
Questions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Billing settings at any time; your plan stays active through the period you've already paid for.
What happens to my family archive after cancellation?
It stays exactly as it was. Cancellation changes what you can add going forward, not what already exists.
Can I export my data?
Yes — request an export from Privacy settings at any time, on any plan. Export is not a paid feature.
Who owns uploaded family materials?
You and your Heritage Space's stewards do. UYE never claims ownership of family content you upload.
Can other family members see everything?
No. Access follows Heritage Space membership and explicit Circle sharing — nothing is visible by default just because someone is related to a person in the tree.
Does face recognition automatically identify people?
No. Face similarity is evidence for a human reviewer only. UYE never automatically assigns identity, merges people, or changes sharing based on it.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from Privacy settings. If you solely own a Heritage Space with other members or content, you'll be asked to transfer or resolve it first — this protects shared family history from being deleted by one person's account closure.
Is my content public?
No. Heritage Spaces are private by default; nothing is public unless you explicitly publish it.
